2. When to use thick PP-R pipe and when to use thin type?

Depending on temperature, pressure and service life, you can choose a pipe with suitable thickness. (refer to page 1 - Binh Minh Plastic PP-R product catalog).

3. Are there counterfeit PP-R pipes of Binh Minh Plastic in the market? How to prevent them?

5. Can PP-R pipes be used for the entire domestic water supply and drainage system in the house?

Binh Minh Plastic PP-R products fully meet the needs of installing domestic water supply and drainage systems. - However, to save costs while still fully meeting the needs, the indoor plastic pipe system can consider using uPVC pipes for the purpose of cold water (≤450C), PP-R pipes for the purpose of hot water.

6. What is the meaning and use of Binh Minh Plastic PP-R hot and cold lever valves?

Binh Minh Plastic is supplying two types of PP-R lever valves:

  • Hot lever valves have red handles, specially used for hot water.
  • Cold lever valves have blue handles, specially used for cold water.

Use Binh Minh Plastic PP-R cold lever valve for cold water pipe system to save costs. Use hot lever valve for hot water pipe system.

7. How chemical resistant are PP-R pipes and fittings?

Binh Minh Plastic PP-R pipes and fittings are able to withstand acid solutions, alkaline solutions, salt solutions and weak solvents. However, PP-R pipes and fittings cannot withstand highly concentrated oxidizing acids and halogen agents.

8. PP-R pipes must use welding machines to connect pipes and pipe fittings. Does Binh Minh Plastic have any support policies for customers on this issue?

    • The company provides free service of borrowing connecting equipment when customers use PP-R products of Binh Minh Plastic. In addition, with a sufficient quantity of products purchased according to the sales policy at each time, customers will also receive a hand-held welding machine.

9. How to identify PP-R pipes of Binh Minh Plastic? Why do PP-R pipes have blue and red stripes, what are the functions of these stripes?

  • The PP-R pipe produced by Binh Minh Plastic is printed with the logo, brand name of the Manufacturer, and product information.
  • The PP-R pipe is blue, along the body of the pipe there are 4 (or 6) evenly spaced blue or red stripes.
  • The blue stripe is to identify the pipe with a pressure level of PN10 bar and the red stripe with a pressure level of PN20 bar, both types can carry cold and hot water.
