Binh Minh Plastic Joint Stock Company was established in 1977, is a leading enterprise in the plastic construction materials industry in Vietnam. Currently, the company owns 3 modern factories located in Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh and Hung Yen, specializing in providing pipes and plastic pipe fittings that meet national and international standards. All Binh Minh Plastic products use a completely new additive system that does not contain heavy metals, ensuring safety for users' health and being environmentally friendly. In particular, PVC-U and PP-R pipes and pipe fittings of Binh Minh Plastic have been certified by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) as the highest level SGBP (Singapore Green Building Product) - Leader, safe for drinking water.

Main business and production activities: Production and trading of plastic pipes and pipe fittings: PVC-U, PP-R, HDPE, HDPE double-wall corrugated, irrigation fittings, PVC glue and sprayers.

1977

BINH MINH PLASTIC JOINT-STOCK FACTORY was established on November 16, 1977 under the public-private joint venture model based on the merger of Vietnam Chemical Plastic Pipe Company (KEPIVI) and Kieu Tinh Plastic Company. At this time, the Factory was under the General Corporation of Industrial Technology - Ministry of Light Industry, specializing in the production of household plastic products and some pipe products with plastic pipe accessories.

1986

Binh Minh Plastics was chosen by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) as the official partner to produce and supply uPVC pipes for the Unicef rural clean water program in Vietnam. This moment opened up a strategic awareness for Binh Minh Plastics to transform the product structure of Binh Minh Plastics to produce industrial and technical plastic products, mainly plastic pipes and plastic pipe fittings.

1990

  • Officially registered for exclusive protection of trademarks, brands and logos of Binh Minh Plastic in Vietnam.
  • Binh Minh Plastic's product distribution system began to take shape.

1994

  • Renamed as BINH MINH PLASTIC COMPANY, a State-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Light Industry.
  • The first enterprise in the country to apply advanced Dry Blend technology to produce uPVC pipes up to 400mm in diameter directly from compound powder raw materials.

1999

Inauguration of Factory 2 - area of 20,000 m2 in Binh Duong with modern equipment from European countries - marking a step forward in the Company's scale and production capacity.

2000

ISO 9001 Quality Management System certified.

2002

  • First time launching smooth HDPE pipes and double-walled corrugated PE pipes to the market.
  •  Completed investment in open warehouse, expanding the area of Factory 2 to 30,000m2.

2004

After equitization, the Company officially operated under the name BINH MINH PLASTIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY from January 2, 2004. This is an extremely important milestone marking a fundamental change in the Company's operating mechanism, creating the premise for future breakthrough developments. The Company invested in equipment and expanded the area of Factory 2 to 50,000m2.

2006

The Company's shares are officially traded on the HOSE floor with stock code BMP.

2007

December 21, 2007: December 21, 2007: Inauguration of Binh Minh Plastics Northern Company Limited in Hung Yen, Binh Minh Plastics brand officially joined in conquering the Northern market.

2009

PP-R heat-resistant pipe products are officially launched on the market.
Production of PVC-U pipes up to 630mm in diameter.

2010

  • Signed a contract to lease more than 155,000 m2 of land at Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park - Ben Luc - Long An province for the construction project of Binh Minh Long An Factory.
  • Being the first enterprise to successfully produce HDPE pipes with a diameter of 1,200mm, the largest in Vietnam, at NBM.

2012

  • Applying the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, oriented towards green development.

  •  Deploying the information technology project “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) – Oracle E-Business Suite”.

2013

  • Certificate of conformity for products according to the standards of the Ministry of Construction.
    Increase charter capital to 454,784,800,000 VND.

2014

  • Starting construction of a new factory in Long An.
  •  Officially applying (Go-live) the ERP system at the Company.

2015

  • 18/11/2015 Inauguration of Binh Minh Long An Factory.
  •  Successfully deployed 05 ERP subsystems at the Company, Branches and Subsidiaries.

2016

Construction of phase II of Binh Minh Long An Factory started.

2017

  • The first unit to successfully apply an environmentally friendly additive system that does not contain heavy metals in the production of PVC-U pipes and pipe fittings.

  • The pioneer unit in the Vietnamese construction materials plastic industry to be awarded the National Quality Award by the Prime Minister.

2018

  • Completing the process of divesting State capital.

  • Winning the Asia Pacific Quality Award, continuing to affirm the prestige and position of the leading construction material plastic enterprise in the Vietnamese and international markets.

2019

Conducting restructuring of the Company's organization and restructuring the distribution system in a more dynamic and suitable direction in the competitive environment

Automating the product picking and cutting process with a 3-axis robot
Following the strategy of "Modernization for Operational Excellence", BMP deploys a 3-axis robot to automate the product picking and cutting process instead of manual operations, minimizing operational risks. In order to meet higher standards of quality and output, BMP has researched and deployed an automatic robot ball valve assembly line to replace the traditional manual process.
