Typical projects

Deo Ca Road Tunnel

The Deo Ca Tunnel is 3,900 m long (with the entire project spanning 13,400 m), crossing Deo Ca Pass and connecting Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa.
Construction began on November 18, 2012, with completion expected in 2016.
The total investment is approximately VND 15,600 billion, with the 3,900 m tunnel section valued at VND 10,500 billion under the BOT model.
The project investor is Deo Ca Investment Joint Stock Company.

Ca Mau Fertilizer and Power Plant

The Ca Mau Fertilizer and Power Complex was fully commissioned in 2009. The project investor is Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. The entire project covers 200 hectares in Khanh An Commune, U Minh District, Ca Mau Province. The complex consists of four main projects:

-   The 325 km gas steel pipeline (298 km submerged offshore) was inaugurated on August 28, 2008.
-   Two thermal power plants with a total capacity of 1,500 MW were completed on December 27, 2008.
-   The fertilizer plant, with a capacity of 800,000 tons per year, was completed in 2009.
-   Industrial cluster utilizing low-pressure gas.

The total investment is approximately USD 2 billion.

Phu Quoc International Airport

Phu Quoc International Airport, developed by Airports Corporation of Vietnam, broke ground on November 23, 2008. Phase 1 was inaugurated and put into operation on December 15, 2012, with a designed capacity of approximately 3 million passengers per year. The initial investment was VND 3,000 billion.

The airport was built in Duong To Commune, Phu Quoc Island District, on a planned area of approximately 904 hectares.

Sala Urban Area

Sala Urban Area in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, is developed by Dai Quang Minh Joint Stock Company. The project covers a total area of 257 hectares and is planned to accommodate approximately 22,500 residents.

Sala is a comprehensively planned and modern urban area, with technical infrastructure meeting the high demands of a civilized city, including residential areas, commercial zones, hospitals, schools, a marina, parks, and more.

 

Dung Quat Economic Zone Infrastructure

The Dung Quat Economic Zone has been planned by the Government of Vietnam as a multi-sector, multi-industry economic zone, focusing on oil refining, petrochemicals, large-scale heavy industries (steel rolling, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, cement production, automobile manufacturing, etc.), light industries, as well as financial services, banking, tourism, and real estate.

The infrastructure system (roads, ports, water and electricity supply, waste treatment, etc.) and social amenities (hospitals, vocational schools, recreational facilities, etc.) within the Dung Quat Economic Zone have been basically completed and continue to be further developed and expanded.

Hai Van Road Tunnel

The Hai Van Road Tunnel is 6,280 m long, crossing Hai Van Pass and connecting Hue and Da Nang. Construction began on August 27, 2000, and it was inaugurated on June 5, 2005. The main contractors were the joint ventures Hazama – Cienco 6 and Dong Ah – Song Da. The total investment was approximately USD 150 million.

Thu Thiem Tunnel

The Thu Thiem Tunnel is 1,490 m long, crossing the Saigon River and connecting District 1 and District 2. Construction began in 2004, it was inaugurated on November 20, 2011, and opened to traffic on November 21, 2011. The main contractor was Obayashi Corporation – Japan.
