On July 9, 2024, Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union and the People's Committee of Binh Tan District, solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project "Clean Water Pipeline Construction for My Thuan and Tan An Thanh Communes." This event marked a significant step forward in providing clean water to the people of Vinh Long Province. On the same day, Binh Minh Plastics also attended the inauguration and acceptance ceremony of two clean water pipeline projects in Tan Thanh and Tan Luoc Communes, which had been initiated on April 24, 2024.

These projects are part of the "Cherish Water – Love the Future" initiative implemented by Binh Minh Plastics since 2023. Aiming to improve the quality of clean water for communities, the project has carried out many practical activities. In 2023, Binh Minh Plastics supplied 1,700 meters of HDPE pipes to Vinh Long Province and 1,200 meters of PVC-U pipes to Soc Trang Province. Notably, more than 10,000 meters of PVC-U pipes and accessories were donated to Ca Mau Province, bringing clean water directly to households.
The groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies were successfully held with the presence of many key leaders, including Mr. Chaowalit Treejak – CEO of Binh Minh Plastics, Mr. Ta Quang Tuyen – Quang Tung Distributor, Comrade Tran Cong Khanh – Member of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee and Provincial Youth Union Secretary, along with representatives of the Provincial Youth Police, leaders of Binh Tan District People’s Committee, and numerous youth union members and local residents from Tan Luoc, Tan Thanh, My Thuan, and Tan An Thanh Communes. Their attendance reflected strong solidarity and support for the project. Additionally, the enthusiastic participation of over 30 workers from Binh Sai Gon, Binh Minh Long An, Binh Minh Binh Duong factories, and the Investment & R&D Department highlighted the company’s commitment and responsibility toward the community.

By the end of phase 1, the project completed the installation of a clean water pipeline system for Tan Thanh and Tan Luoc Communes, with a total length of 2,900 meters, providing 78 households access to clean water. In phase 2, an additional 5,100 meters of pipelines were installed for My Thuan and Tan An Thanh Communes. The total investment for all four projects exceeded 800 million VND, reflecting Binh Minh Plastics’ and stakeholders’ serious commitment to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged families in Vinh Long Province.
The "Cherish Water – Love the Future" program is not only a significant step in improving the lives of local residents but also demonstrates Binh Minh Plastics’ sustainable commitment to the community and the environment. This achievement encourages the company and its partners to continue expanding and developing the project in the future. Upcoming plans will not only focus on providing clean water to more areas but also aim to build a sustainable development model, contributing to a brighter and better future for everyone.
