Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont - General Director of Binh Minh Plastics, receives the title of Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025
According to the Organizing Committee, the evaluation criteria for the Green Enterprise title in 2025 were perfected towards improving quality and depth. Based on full compliance with legal regulations on the environment, the program expanded its evaluation to groups of criteria reflecting the substantive greening capacity of enterprises, including corporate governance, production technology, energy use, circular economy, ESG implementation, and data transparency.
The title of Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025 is the result of specific and continuous activities that Binh Minh Plastics has been implementing for many years.
First of all, Binh Minh Plastics focuses on investing in modern production technology towards automation, reducing energy and raw material consumption, while strictly controlling environmental indicators throughout the production process. The company's factories maintain strict compliance with environmental regulations, from wastewater and exhaust gas treatment to solid waste management, aiming to reduce emissions and use resources efficiently.
Binh Minh Plastics is also the first and only enterprise in the Vietnamese construction material plastics industry to achieve the SGBP Green Product certification at the highest level - Leader, for PVC-U, PP-R, HDPE pipes and fittings used for drinking water, and ribbed PE pipes used for wastewater, based on strict criteria regarding materials, energy efficiency, durability, and environmental impact throughout the product's entire life cycle.
In addition, Binh Minh Plastics also achieved the LOTUS certification issued by the Vietnam Green Building Council for PVC-U, PP-R, HDPE, and double-wall corrugated HDPE pipes and fittings, meeting the requirements of Vietnam's green buildings regarding environmental safety, health, and energy saving.

In ESG practices, Binh Minh Plastics pays special attention to information transparency and improving governance capacity. Contents related to environmental, social, and corporate governance are increasingly clearly integrated into executive operations, annual reports, and communications, thereby demonstrating the enterprise's responsibility to shareholders, partners, and the community.
On the social aspect, Binh Minh Plastics maintains many large-scale community responsibility programs, typically the project "Cherishing the water source, loving the future", supplying tens of thousands of meters of water pipes to localities still facing difficulties with clean water sources.
The synchronous chain of activities from production and governance to social responsibility has created a solid foundation for Binh Minh Plastics to meet the criteria for Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025 in a comprehensive manner, affirming the company's sustainable development direction in the context where green transition is becoming an inevitable requirement of the economy.
