Always accepting the challenges set by predecessors has forged the reputation of Binh Minh Plastics today. Recognizing the growing demand for large-diameter pipes in water supply and drainage projects across Vietnam, the Board of Directors of Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company decided to invest more than VND 80 billion in a fully integrated HDPE pipe production line—from manufacturing to on-site assembly—covering diameters of Φ710, Φ800, Φ900, Φ1000, and Φ1200 mm in accordance with ISO 4427-2:2007 standards. This is the largest and most advanced HDPE pipe production line in Vietnam, manufactured by the world-renowned equipment producer KRAUSS MAFFEI (Federal Republic of Germany). Thanks to a high sense of urgency and determination, after less than a month of installation and commissioning, on December 17, 2010—on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of Binh Minh Northern Co., Ltd.—the first 1200 mm HDPE pipes were officially produced in the presence of representatives from consulting firms, water supply and drainage companies, and rural water centers from all 63 provinces nationwide, marking a new chapter for water supply and drainage infrastructure projects, eliminating the need to use foreign currency for importing large-diameter pipes.
The first HDPE pipes with the largest diameter in Vietnam (1200 mm) were produced at Binh Minh Plastics Northern Company, D1 Street, Pho Noi A Industrial Park, Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province, Vietnam.
“Launching” this product, on March 23, 2011, Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company was proud to be selected as the supplier of plastic pipes for Construction Joint Stock Company No. 5 to carry out the construction of the largest wastewater treatment plant in Binh Duong Province, with an order value of more than VND 30 billion for large HDPE pipes ranging from 630 mm to 1200 mm. Accompanying the products was after-sales service; on July 21, 2011, Binh Minh Plastics’ Marketing Department directly executed the installation, handed over welding machines, and transferred the 1200 mm pipe welding technology to the construction unit at the Nam Binh Duong wastewater treatment plant project site.
